Welcome to the survey for the World Maritime University (WMU) Food4Seafarers research project. This survey will take about 15 to 20 minutes to complete.
About the Project
Food4Seafarers research project has been launched by the WMU with generous sponsorship from the ITF Seafarers Trust. The aim of the project is to address the persistent issue of inadequate nutrition and catering for seafarers.
Why is this survey being done?
The survey aims to capture seafarers’ experiences with nutrition and catering onboard commercial seagoing ships.
Who can participate?
Seafarers currently working or who have worked on any commercial seagoing ships.
Will I be identified for taking part in the survey?
No. The survey does not collect any personally identifiable information. Only general socio-demographic information is collected, and your responses will remain completely anonymous.
The survey follows the WMU Research Ethics Committee procedures.
Can I stop responding to the survey once I have started it?
Your participation is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any stage of the survey.
